Re: [cpx] cpx not restarting apache after adding a domain admin?

Russ,

I got an answer back from Tech2 and it is an absolute fantastic
answer. The problem is resolved and here is why... quoting email:

====================

Thank you for contacting Verio support. This issue is caused by having
the Zend Optimizer and the pspell PHP module running at the same time.
These two PHP extensions have been known to be incompatible since PHP
4.4 (http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=40007) and the issue is unlikely
to be resolved anytime soon with both Zend and PHP blaming the other
guy. The only known work arounds are to either A) Disable Zend
Optimizer, B) Disable the pspell module, or C) Do not use graceful
restarts on Apache. Under option (C) PHP will still be throwing
Segmentation Faults left and right, but it doesn't seem to adversely
effect anything so long as Apache is not gracefully restarted. Please
feel free to contact us at any time should you require further
assistance.

=====================

All I did to resolve it was shell into my MPS, type: vinstall php5 and
then uncheck the pspell module, save, restart_apache and now the
apache graceful restart works fine. Also the segmentation faults are
now gone.

cheers!

James
