Re: [cpx] Customer Feedback on CPX Webmail

We've received gripes about the CPX webmail interface too, with the main one being access to the emails. You need 2 more clicks to get to it once you're logged in, not very usable, especially when some users access it from phones, PDAs and various types of connections/PCs. We found SquirrelMail an excellent solution. The site www.squirrelmail.org has also all sorts of plugins which will help you keep the account humming along fine. So far, we haven't encountered any nasty clashes with CPX using Squirrelmail.

If you insist on providing webmail locally (and are aware of the long-term disk space requirements for doing so) then I recommend SquirrelMail.

# vinstall squirrelmail

Or route all incoming mail to a free Gmail account (http://gmail.com) and use their interface. Its as full-featured as you can ask for, and the already massive (2.4 GB+) disk space allowance grows by the minute.
