Hi all, hi Scott,
I had again the problem with all the users of a domain going back
under the hostname of the VPS. I AGAIN put them back by hand but still
the CPX is doing completly incredible thing as it revert to the hostname
users i was seeing in the domain some second agao while i move OTHER
users. So i put 3 under the domain and two are back under the
hostname...this bring me crazy...
Only one thing here: all the users of the customer have a dot in their
name ( This is NOT prevented by cpx or vadduser so this must be legal
). I do not understand all the problem i have here. I completly
destroyed the cpx.conf to be sure to start from a new clean one. Some
code in the CPX seems to handle things in a wrong way. I only can assume
the DOT in the name is the problem and that the code is unable to
interpret it correctly. In anycase i am at more than 8 hours of works on
this issue alone not counting the customers on the phone, my last IDS
took 8 days to get an answer (and my domain admin was put in wheel
group so my customer got the complete control of the VPS !! thanks
support for this !) and i am in desesperate need of someone helping me
sort this out.
Is this a problem on this VPS ? is this the DOT in the name that cpx
does not handle correctly ? Any of you encountered issue with users
having DOT in their names ?
 Help !
regards,
Ghislain ADNET.
