Rae,

I would not suggest changing the "ControlPanel" settings in httpd.conf.
If you would like to offer customers a different address
(domain.com/somethingelse), then I would add an additional rewrite rule
to this section:

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
        RewriteRule ^/webmail/?$
/ControlPanel/mail/wm_messages.xsl?folder=INBOX [R]
    </IfModule>

Something like:

        RewriteRule ^/email/?$
/ControlPanel/mail/wm_messages.xsl?folder=INBOX [R]

I am not sure if modifying the RewriteRule will "break" future updates.
(I am sure the Webmail email box URL will change in the future at some
point, so you would have to modify the RewriteRule then.)  I'll defer to
Rus or others to comment on that.

Hello Brad,

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if changing the "ControlPanel" in 
the apache file will effect universal upgrades and fixes?
