Hi Andy,

I haven't seen a reply yet so thought I'd offer my two cents.

I think the issues so far have centered around servers with lots
of users and e-mail addresses defined. Simply installing CPX can add
5-10 resident processes to a plain server (clamav, spamd, vsapd, etc.)
not to mention procmail. A VPS with MySQL 4 and the above list has
around 50 or more permanent processes, and if a lot of users check
e-mail or hit Apache, or several incoming sendmail/procmail/clamdscan
processes happen (three per message, remember), it can run out quickly.

Capacity aside, it sounds like the latest updates have fixed the
mysterious and highly annoying "lost settings" bug which hit servers
with higher user counts (I didn't notice this at all on lightly used
servers). ViaVerio has been steadily rolling out fixes for it over the
last year or so when it was released.

CPX isn't WebMin - it doesn't allow full GUI management of a
server - but it does allow for much of the functionality that users
might desire from a control panel. From the past postings I've seen
here it sounds like ViaVerio has some nice ideas about where to go with
it.
