[cpx] Problem creating vacation.db

I have a client trying to set up an autoreply through CPX. CPX doesn't show
an error, but sending mail to the address doesn't produce a reply and the
following shows up the log:
Sep 12 12:17:54 accountname vacation[20060]: vacation:
..cpx/autoreply/vacation.db: No such file or directory

Support hasn't been any help and I'm waiting to hear from someone on an
escalation. Thought I would see if anyone on the list might have seen this
before.
